// About Me

As a current post-grad student at the Centre of Geographic Sciences, I have refined my geospatial data analysis skills through a variety of mediums and projects. My specialization in Remote Sensing has allowed me to focus on datasets from around the world, and apply my passion for travel and photography to my work. My curiousity of the world around us has driven my interdisciplinary approach to academia, leading to a B.Sc in Earth Science and Aquatic Resources from St. Francis Xavier University.

Photography has been a large part of my life over the past few years, taking me and my work around the world. It has also been a driving factor behind my adventurousness, leading me into many dark nights and foreign places "to get the shot". My work has been featured in international art shows, brand marketing, contests, and galleries. I have also maintained a succesful online following, receiving nearly 400,000 Flickr views in 2015. I was fortunate enough to expand my portfolio during a backpacking trip to Europe, and a cross-continent roadtrip to the American Southwest.

My entrepreneriual spirit has been with me for as long as I can remember, but was truly harnessed in the summer of 2015 when I started Aether Aerial Imaging. Based out of Kemptville, Ontario, Aether was established to bring UAV technology into the Real Estate market to help realtors show off their properties in a completely unique way. The success of the business was a testament to the long hours of research and experimentation I engaged in to completely grasp the burgeoning UAV industry.
